We are often asked what's the most touching story thus far in our five years of running Abby's Gift. There are many. The most recent is Simon.

Kuddos to BlackHawk Construction and Pipeline Maintenance and Texas Landowners Association for a top-notch event. We were blessed with great people, a great turnout, great weather, great bands, great raffle and auction items donated by great people, great food, and a super great time! So many families will continue to be blessed through Abby's Gift.
Thank you, with all the love our hearts can hold--
Clyde, Melinda, Ashlin, and ALL the rockstar family, friends, and volunteers. :-)
If you know anyone that has lost a child and think they are grieving too long, please don't judge.
If they speak the child's name often and it makes YOU uncomfortable, please look at your own heart.
If you say "but she/he was just a baby", remember that the "just a baby" was carried in the womb by a momma and loved by a family just as much as any other child in this world. Age is meaningless in a parents heart.
If you know anyone that has experienced a miscarriage or stillbirth or only minutes with their child, please don't judge and think "well, they really didn't know the child". The child is known.
